That 's true, too. But keep looking, as Nb sometimes (not always) used as "mirror" in construction of dots and wells. Fact is, there are many ways to skin a cat or construct a quantum dot or quantum well. As you probably know, everybody and his brother are looking for the best comination of materials for their applications, which are numerous.
