Actually we don't. It's OK to not have an opinion about how something sounds because you haven't heard it. Had I offered an opinion about the sound of that cartridge because I chose to "take a side" between reviewers what would that have been worth?
We don't have to take a side. We don't have to have an opinion about every component.
