Here are some ideas:I find that with my cartridge/arm combo, the more I increase anitskating (AS), the more the shimmer/resonnace/overtones/reverbs off walls is diminished. IMO the music becomes more lifeless. Assuming your Azmuith (AZ) is correct, there will be a point where distortion occurs in one channel towards the end of a record (easily seen in dynamic piano passages). When it occurs increase the AS slightly until it dissappears. So in a nutshell, my premise is: the less AS the better, though there is a point where it is needed to eradicate distortion. in case you are wondering: Delphi V; Graham 2.2; Ruby 2.
