***If your test records don't have the 1kHz signal at different spots on the records (lead in, middle and end grooves) may I suggest that you purchase the Shure test record I spoke of. I think you will be suprised if you do, in how impossible it is to even get a decent compromise.This is another good point, showing that there is no sngle right answer. Given this type of information everyone will have to make some decisions, and perhaps even experiement, all of which is good thing.
