The Hypothesis may be wrong, but if one hears the effect, then obviously we need to search the causality.

But that's the problem. No one has ever actually demonstrated that they actually hear the effect, as in an actual audible difference as opposed to one which is due purely to psychological effects.

While we don't know everything, one thing we do know, and have known for quite some time is that human subjective perception is NOT the unerring reflection of physical reality that we would like to believe it is.

And as long as you and others remain in complete denial of this fact and never do anything to properly control for it, then you'll continue to remain in the Dark Ages.
