But perhaps soon!IMHO, you can't avoid the availability argument. No one knows if SACD will survive. My opinion is that discs will come in SACD, CD and DVD-A and you'll pick which you prefer, but I would imagine stores are loathe to stock all three types. Perhaps each disc will have three layers, who knows? But digital is here to stay, God help us, and there's no point in getting into LP as you'll find your favorite new music nowhere to be found.
The question of which sounds better is very personal. I prefer LP; you may not. Any friends that have the various formats that you can listen to? Good luck!
