we're living in a world with massive information coming from different mediums. The more one writes, reads, and communicates, the better a writer, reader, and communicator one becomes. Not to mention that in such a world, to be different a rational person will have to be precise and clear to stand out. Of course, there's a tendency to mass produce in such a world. People write more without thinking. People hire others to write more for them without having to think (Clinton's "it takes a village", and several Tom Clancy's novels are mostly written by ghost writers). But, this also refines one's skills in selecting what good sources are. So overall, the Internet and its contribution to this massive informational world, in my estimation, is a good thing.
