Great post Romy!!!

As a non native english-speaker person I find very difficult to express my perceptions when speaking/writting about audio-gear, music and all the stuff this forum is about, then I tend to use the vocabulary and expressions that other inmates, reviewers and audio-people use, taking as a fact that those are the correct words to describe certain sound features. But as you point in your post, I have the same problems in my mother language, so that's because probably we (as humans) cannot convert into words the characteristics of the sound and music easily. This is as if we tryied to explain to a blind person what are colours, how they look and what they evoke into our brains or souls, perhaps describing a Velazquez painting would be relatively easy, but what about a Picasso's or Kandinsky's?
So perhaps we here in this community could make a kind of sound-audio-music glossary of terms trying to make a consensus about things such as airy presentation, musicality, emmotional involvement, transparent, fast, inner detail and so on. I know what they mean to me (at least what I try to describe when I use them) but would be nice knowing if we all understand the same things.

Regards,

AJ.
