yes. if retailers or dj's sell promos and they are caught they get nailed. .those went away with the characters in the book 'hit men'. i did however send out 3 amps to be reviewed in the early 1990's (as the head of marketing for a high end company) and had to eat the cost personally, because they never came back. 2 good reviews and one mia. i ran into one amp (selling used) at a virtual retailer about two years ago. i bought it (again). oh well
