I can comment on the Reference 3A MM de Capo i speakers. I think these are great speakers for SET amps. I have tried a bunch of small monitor speakers over the years, and I rank the de Capo i as one of the best. You can pick up a used pair for about $1,500. I have tried them with 45, 2A3, and 300B amps. Depending on your tastes and room acoustics, you might find the WE 300B's a bit warm with these speakers, as the de Capo's are somewhat warm and rich sounding. Not that that is a bad thing. My first choice are the Coincident Triumph Signature Extreme speakers, which I find to have slightly better imaging, detail and clarity. I have been using a REL Strata III sub, but find I don't use it most of the time. The Coincident Triumph Signature Extreme speakers are not to be confused with the previous Triumph Signature UHS speakers from a few years back. The Extreme version has noticeably better sound quality due to improved wiring, crossover and bracing.
Here is a link to a previous post of mine that discusses various small monitor speakers.
