Well, that's kinda what I think to. But in Speaker Builder Mag they always called them short TL's. They are a different animal then a full length TL, I agree. I also consider them a damped vented box or a Dynaco A-25 type of enclosure. Whatever they are, they can sound good when everything is right. And my statement of 101 db, if I said that,I thought it anyway, would be with 95 db speakers. 2 speakers would be 98 db and then half the impedence to 4 ohms would add another 3 db for 101 db. Even if you started out with the same cross sectional area as the woofer and did not taper the box, and made the length 4 foot long that would work good also.Kenny
