I interpret former suggestion that you call low-end weight gain as a more rthymic feel to the music that makes the music feel unrushed.
My suspicion is that some of the "8 second initialization" period used by the new operating system in the Rega (and the 20MB of memory) may make the "Jerome's play sequencing" irrevelent in this unit as most users using their random habits have had good results with the new Regas. The flip side to the question is whether or not there is a sequence that can upset this "engineered" condition in this unit. I've not heard the Rega and cannot comment.
