and because the input stage only draws relatively small, the battery capacity is enormously calculated that it can supply continously for at least 150 hours. Once the monitor circuit inside the Battery Unit sense a low cell voltage, it swtiches into charging mode. AC intake to charge up the cells and at the same time supply into the input-stage instead. When the charging process is completed, it switches back into battery mode & AC intake is disconnected automatically. Normally one automatic charging mode takes around 8-12 hours, but this seldom encountered because high unlikely that anyone will keep listening to music for 150 hours !In general use the amp is switched into Standby or Off at night, and this commands the Battery Unit to go into charging mode. Once the amp is switched to On,AC intake into the Battery Unit is disconnected and pure DC goes into operation.
