Had some time to kill, so I walked into Lyric, poked around, and asked to hear some Genesis speakers. The owner said they were hooked up to "the best amps he'd ever heard in over 40 years of high-end audio."Yes, the ASR Emitter.
How'd they sound? Pretty frigging good, but I didn't have the apocalytptic experience that others have had. Still sounded like an audio system to me, albeit a great one.
Didn't sound appreciably closer to the Real Thing, to my ears at least.
But I ain't no HP.
