I did, and they are beautiful speakers, especially that walnut finish. I'd probably have an easier time placing those, and getting them past my wife, but I still remember listening to and loving the Quads 20 years ago. I just didn't think they would work in my room, but responses here tell me that it's worth the try.
And, for the record, If I ask a question, and someone responds with an answer, whether it's directly on point of not, I'm never uptight about it. If I'm interested I'll take it on, if not, I'll move on. Ok, one exception. I'll usually specify NO DIY, because I just can't, but the DIY guys NEVER see that. "Oh, you don't want Quads, you want to order the ABC Drivers and build a box bigger than a gorilla coffin tri wired with subs too". They're either not married, or have houses bigger than a Musk mansion with a basement to hide in.
