Yep, and while I still intend on auditioning a few others, I think I can eliminate several that cost WAY more than the current price on those Quads. As I said a screaming bargain at that price. Wondering about the bigger ones, the 2912's, but still a bargain for what I remember they sound like.
I wish I could get it done sooner, but we've got work to do on the house over the next several months. I hope the Brits don't decide to jack the price back up, but even then, if they work in my space, even at say 80% of their capability in a better room I'll be perfectly content. Just need the electrician to put in a few more receptacles, and maybe a dedicated line while he's at it.
