FWIW, I have good luck with Nathan's Realtraps from www.realtraps.com.
I have made some DIY traps from Owens Corning ridged panels, but they did not perform was well as the Realtraps. They really increased the bass response in my 2-channel room just by placing them in all of the wall-2-wall corners.
I have a mixture of Minitraps and Mondotraps in 2 rooms.
