Yes, I used Jon's recipe to the tee. The most difficult part was attaching the pipes to the bases. I ended up wrapping electrical tape around the diameter of the pipes to get the pipe and holes snug enough to keep the desired spacing before driving in some screws. I purchased black PVC at Home Depot instead of the white stuff in case of a mishap and some paint getting scrapped off easily showing the underlining white PVC. Also, I would advice using Krylon spray paint. I used another brand and found that it did not adhere to the PVC well. The Krylon did the job.
