even if I called it, artlessly, "hang" (to distinguish it from "overhang", which I connote as spurious output from an underdamped woofer). I've found its perceptibility to be a function of placement+treatment+the maximizing of unobstructed space fore and aft of the listener. And it surprises the hell out of visitors who are convinced that Maggies can't "do" such things without a little help from their conical friends.
