the reverse approach to what I did in determining appropriate listening height with my 1.6's (which in my room and at my listening distance work best at true vertical in terms of soundstage articulation, image focus, etc.--the layout's described at http://www.geocities.com/jimtranr/Listening_height.html.My approach was to put my listening chair on risers of varying heights until I got the porridge just right. You might try the same thing with your .6's, putting them on risers (I started with scrap 2-by lumber of appropriate dimensions and incremented with 1-by from there) until what you hear from your listening position strikes you as optimum. You might also try the same with shims to ascertain whether and just how much tilt floats your boat.
As others have noted here, the answer to your question is "depends", and not only on taste but also the specific conditions that apply in your listening space. In my room, at my listening distance, and with the panels vertical, the optimum height of ear turned out to be not the theoretical center-of-vertical of the radiating panels but somewhat above that.
If you have the flexibility to "play" with the panel height before you build your stands, you may find the effort involved well worth it.
Good luck.
