The standard suggestion is to replace your fuses (temporarily) with copper bar and listen that way for awhile to establish an audible reference.
(Since a copper bar has non of the non-linearities a fuse might have.)
When performing relative fuse comparisons....unless you know for a fact the two fuses have identical blowing characteristics....it's an irrelevant comparison.
