That is why you should visit a local dealer and do business with them. You should be able to listen to the two types at the store and tell whether or not you like it on the spot. You can also get valuable advice and service when you establish a business relationship there that will help in case you can't make an upgrade decision (and you can't but blindly by reading usenet, etc...) or run into a myriad of other issues that can develop.
