Probably one in one hundred are qualified to perform the "tweaks" you mentioned - more likely, one in one thousand. It is so surprising, and frustrating, that people like you who have the expertise to do these things naturally assume that every one else has the same abilities. Not so. I am certainly not embarassed, nor ashamed, of the fact that I have to take the "easy to swallow" road to obtain the sound I seek.And, if you will *read* my original post, the only thing I objected to was Dave's reference to the fact the Klipsch was preferable for SETs because it can "blow the Soliloquy out of the room [volume wise]".
Truthfully, did you choose your system solely for the fact that it can play loud enough to "blow you out of the room?" I suspect there were other factors at play here.
