Then you'd lose. I'd have a hard time coming up with anything over $5K that *isn't* better at this point.

NHT Xd. But that's unfair, those are better than B&W 800Ds. At least if you like transparency and not what I call "The Picasso Effect".

I meant the ones with polypropylene midranges. Also giving them some handicapping for their age.

Never going to happen. My store, I get to sell what I like. B&W would have to drop its prices in half and fix three key things - the 10kHz treble peak, get a new midrange, and fix the midbass boom.
