and I have a degree in Physics, and to be frank the tensile (not chemical) properties of stuff like Kevlar is actually easier to understand than some other esoteric but very interesting stuff out there, it is also a tangible item, whose properties can be accurately captured in a lab. B&W justification for using kevlar in the manner that they are using it are perfectly fine by me, i.e cancellation process induced by woven kevlar, nor is the process unique to driver materials. There is more than one to skin a cat, though your preference as you have said in the past is for a 4-way speaker, the proof of the pudding is in the eating, I have now listened to the new 700 series and 800 series, As I have mentioned in another post on this thread, I have heard the JM Lab 936Be, and it sounded congested and even harsh when driven by inadequate amplifiers (simple explanation, an was clipping on climaxes, issues fixed when driven by more robust amplification, and the driver materials do not contain kevlar at all.
