Thank you for a very good review of the Dynaudio Special 25 speakers.
I've previously owned the Dynaudio Special One and the Dynaudio Contour 1,1 speakers. I've also had a good opportunity to hear the Contour 1,3 mk.1, Contour 1,8 mk.1 and Confidence 5 by a good friend of mine. By the way: My opinion is that the Contour 1,1 and Confidence 5 were the best speakers of the bunch. The rest of them I felt lacked a little weight in the lower midrange/upper bass region. This i sof course a matter of taste. But to my taste I felt that the Contour 1,3 mk.1 had the same problem.Question 1: Did you compare the Special 25 to the Contour 1,3 mk.1 or the mk.2?
Question 2: Do the Special 25 have the same neutral midrange as the Contour 1,3. Or do they have a little more warmth like I feel the Confidence 5 and the Contour 1,1 have?
