......did you have access to so much information about Bruno's West Coast orchestra. I read about everybook avaiable out there that even remotely relates to western classical music in the States....as sad as it is. I know that Klemperer really whipped the LAPO into shape while similtaneously taking music lessons from Arnold Schoenberg.....that Stravinsky and Rachmaninov bumped into each other while taking their usual walks through the same neighborhood. I know that Bruno was close to Ossip Gabrilowitch....who's wife Clara was the last living daughter of Mark Twain's!! I know all about the goings on at the "Evenings on the Roof"....but juicy info like what you've just displayed!!
PLEASE...oh please....tell this unfortunate one the source of your information?
