but, and, otoh, my then wife-to-be asked me in 1978 to sell all my guns, saying that 'surely by now, and taking the h'army into acount' - I - 'should be over all this silly macho posturing crap', no?!!!
And ya know what, I was, so all I do now is Timbush FW's and rc's, of which every hobby has plenty, which IS an abiding source of pleasure. And repugnikkens*, of course!
I still ride bicycles, and walk up mountains, will that suffice!
JBTW we call THEM Hard-line Liberals down here. Mr. John Howard - your Dubbya's SEAsian/SW Pacific Sheriff - and our current (but only just) PM, of whom I regularly enquire what state Mr. Blair's shoe-soles are in, heads a Liberal Party Government!
