OK, though I'm not sure what's still uncertain.

No. of trials, no. of test runs with test tones, no. of test runs with musical excerpts, no. of participants, the description and history of the specifically devised test tone, the test dates, the p values, and the names of the test authors are all identical. The chances that at some point the two authors replicated this experiment in a totally identical format with regard to every single one of its above parameters (incl. date...backdate!!) is: zero.
