although (when he was alive) was a multi billionaire, drove a rusty pick up truck, Ross Perot (another rich dude) drove a 80's Oldsmobile and when it broke down (during an interview on 60 minutes) he got out, popped the hood and rolled up his sleeves..I like to think they chose those vehicles not for their 'performance' but rather their 'funtionality.
