You know it's interesting, I heard one time that someone evaluated self-made millionaires, and one of the recurring themes they found was that they wouldn't give up a penny that they didn't have to.The neighborhood that I live in has a lot of old money. But, you go by a lot of the homes and they are still driving the 84 Benz they bought back in 84. Now you go into the cracker-box, new, upscale neighborhoods, and everyone is driving the latest BMW. It's probably a safe bet which one of the two people actually has more money and less debt...:)
