I’ve already voiced my concerns about using 50 wpc to drive the 3.6s in my other posts, but if it works and you like – will move on to their resolving qualities.I started out with very little product knowledge and have select stuff by starting at the bottom and working through the various price / performance tiers until I can no longer hear, appreciate or afford the differences. I’m not advocating that you need to or maggies need this level of stuff to sing, but if you choose to -- the 3’6’s have been resolving enough for me to differentiate between numerous amps (~15k), preamps (~5k), and cdp (~7k). The maggies “you are there†signature reveals things differently than others with a more “there you are†feel. Both are truthful, but similar to your date telling you privately or your drunk, buddies screaming across a bar that you’ve split your pants.
