save yourself some time and money.Instead of building another semi- worthless Flexy, get an IKEA Lack endtable to use for an inexpensive support that will solve your problem and improve nearly every aspect of your turntables performance - cost $10-15
by inserting round headed woodscrews into the leg bottoms, you will have an acceptable substitute for an adjustable spike for isolating and levelling your table.install the legs using carpenter's glue for a more rigid assembly.brace the legs with angle brackets, if you want even more rigidity(optional).if you are a bit creative, you can also use the IKEA Lack tables as the basis to improvise tabletop turntable platforms, ampstands, wall supports or even as modular stacking isolation stands.
