that was my idea of subtle humor, so subtle it isn't funny, connecting the odd ball sharper image products to the odd ball B and O products.

the name was mentioned in connection with developing controls, the blogger used to have one of their classic preamps and liked the control design, but ultimately found it unworkable, and sold the thing.

In thumbing through the B and O site, I had to go there to find the spelling, I found they are reproducing a very small run of their old liner tracking record player. They made no mention of making the cartridge available separately, dang it. As a matter of fact, the news was hardly mentioned, I guess because it is available only through the showrooms, and the limited production in the hundreds.

I wonder if all the guys who used to struggle rebuilding those players have given up by now, or just died off.
