Tube Traps are a registered trademark of the ASC corp. for their resistively dissipative bass traps. The DIY bass traps I call out in my note is a clone of this, except using commercially available materials. The Argent Room Lens clone that David constructed, his variation, based on my note, utilizes a set of tuned pipes, essentially 2" diameter PVC pipes, that are tuned to partially cancel the floor to ceiling room mode only.
See the original DIY notes at my web page for details, the Argent Room Lens Analysis is on the Misc pages.
