he's the AA forum flim-flam man, youbetcha. I hope nobody tries his suggested 'tweak' but it's somebody else's collection, not mine.
Have you ever seen what happens to the sticky glue of electrical tape over time? It doesn't take too long, maybe a year, but it starts to ooze out and turns into a sticky gooey mess and gets worse over a longer time especially with the higher temps inside the player. Try cleaning that in a year on a prized CD and the inside of a CD player after it spins it out onto everything. This 'tweak' of his is NOT a good idea. There are much better tweaks to consider, isolate the player as best as you can
