of the 5 you laugh at; one was a friends Magnavox that you now see the part from. It self-destructed and I kept a few parts including the clamp down because it was early CD and I never saw a copper metal ring before, usually it's plastic so I kept it.
I also have an Alesis CD recorder for my prior studio work and I kept it - it still works perfectly & sounds wonderful thank you, it's built like a tank.
Another was given to me from someone on AA because it didn't work after being repaired and damaged in return shipping. She said pay for shipping and it's yours. A simple fix to a ribbon cable fixed that one right quickly.
The 1st ever CD player I bought new at just over $1000 still works, an original Rotel RCD 990 with a transport that is the most unusual one I've ever seen like it's from another planet. Apparently the transport was very costly to produce and was discontinued. Still works perfect.
AS is the usual for you SLIM PICKENS, You DODGE the original query AND ARE UNABLE TO UNDERSTAND THIS which is why I asked you to post a pic of what you are so completely confused about. I KNOW OF NOT ONE NON CLAMPING CD PLAYER TO HOLD THE CD DOWN IN THE PLAYER TRANSPORT SO PLEASE SHOW WHAT THE HELL YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT, MR. not so MAGIC PEBBLES ROCKS IN THE HEAD...
I will say you are consistent about this - you talk about things to bring attention to yourself and try to sell your merchandise which is GARBAGE. You are retired, broke, and lonely in your old age.
