Home Speaker Asylum

General speaker questions for audio and home theater.

The important thing...

...is that you gave them a second chance and let your gear and ears "settle in" with them. Horns can be a bit of a shock, as it can be like lifting the shades on a bright sunny day.

I have no doubt your amps are great as far as solid state goes, and with the right cables you'll get things moving together pretty good. However, at some point you may get the upgrade itch, and when you do -- it would be good to remember the comments here regarding LOW power solid state or tubes.

Why don't you come join us on the Klipsch 2-Channel forum? This will give us all plenty of opportunity to twist your arm into getting some itty bitty POS tube amp.:):)

Thanks to Mobile Homeless above, I went from high powered Byston to 9 watts of SET in less than a year. I still believe he thinks I have TOO MUCH power!!
