I have read reviews where people have argued back and forth on the tube vs. SS sound in conjunction with Klipschorn. As usual in the field of audio, there are no clear cut answers. Experimenting with the equipment that I have on hand was the only way to find out for sure. Someday I may take the plunge into tubes. My problem is tube equipment is a whole new can of worms for me. What is a good entry level unit to begin with? And what about the average tube life and other maintenace issues? I am happy with my SS amps and preamp. I should have really spent my cash on a higher quality CD player because it is the weakest link in my system. I am putting the Cornwalls up for sale and I should be able to back out of this experiment with little loss.
