One has too look further to tests done by others such as Home Theater Magazine, Stereophile, Sound N Vision (although there specs are barely better than a Manufacture's spec and online resources such as Audioholics. etc.Here's an review of the older Yamaha 3000 which has been updated by the 3020. If you look at the power measurements, you begin to realize that this is a very powerful receiver..
