It's really none of my business, and I know that this is a difficult time for you and your family, but I hope that you were able to make peace with your brother despite your differences. I know first hand that relationships like this that get swept under the table and never get resolved can leave emotional scars that last a lifetime. I have a younger sister that was raised by my mom, and it wasn't until after my mom's death did my younger sister cause and create a lot of dischord amongst my mother's other children, namely myself and my twin sister. She felt that because she was raised by my mother, and my twin and I were raised by my father that she was shorted in some way, and this never surfaced until after my mom died. She started taking advantage of my elderly father, and financially so. I hope that things happened differently for your family and not the way things did in mine. Good luck and better days ahead. May your brother rest in peace, and you live well and prosper too.
