I agree the place is out of control. You do have an option however.Simply upload the pics to your own webspace (you do have some, every ISP allowcates some for customers. Phone them to get the location if you are not sure, and then download a freeware FTP program to upload the pics. It's very easy to do)
You can't use html unless you pay the extra 6 bucks (another outrage) but you can put the location in the text, and it should look something like this

And people can then copy and paste it themselves.
Follow Ups:
Two things:
1) Why should I pay an extra $6 to post a couple more photos? ebay is much cheaper then this.
2) They disabled the html ability altogether! So now they aren't charging $6 for html .... they've simply done away with it entirely. Why? Beats the hell out of me. Nothing they do makes any sense to me. I swear their admins suffer from severe logic deficiency.
OK, first I had no idea they did away with html entirely. That place really is one step from the manure pile. You don't have to pay the extra money with what I told you. Simply place a regular ad and put the images URL in the text as I showed you. The picture won't appear in the ad like it would if you used html, but people can copy and paste the links. Try this one, it's the audiogon field team

I swore last year I was going to look into doing something about making a site to counter them. This may be the final straw.
If you start another similar service, let me know. I'll hop on over and help get the word out.
Ive a TON of stuff to be rid of. AG greed has kept me from posting in some time. And I even have $ in my acc there.

It's not their admins, it's management, although we have no idea of how many people are there. They just don't give things enough thought. I spent quite a bit of time on the phone with one of their key people one day telling them about some of the problems and how they could fix them, done so in what I hoped was in the spirit of being helpful. Apparently it didn't sink in, or they didn't see things the same. They definitely have a different set of objectives, or at least a different way of trying to achieve them.
Best regards,
Not much ever seems to sink in with the folks there. I've also sent them constructive emails in the past. Each time, they replied with a blanket, generic "thanks for your opinion" type of response but obviously didn't give my ideas any passing thought. Same results when I sent them civil complaints about some of their changes. I honestly can't think of a single change in the last 5 years that were beneficial to their customers. Do you remember when they tried to impose some really strange and complicated buying/sell procedure? Thankfully that idea didn't pan out. I don't have the same hope that the changes in the past couple years are also a fleeting (extremely illogical) experiment.Usually, greed is common motive amongst any enterprise. But some of Audiogon's decisions makes no business sense whatsoever. I sincerely feel their management have a severe disconnect with business sense.
