Part of the reason for the cost, is that they moved production back to the US. This does raise the price. Even the normal version (replacement for the PPP) is more expensive. This is the high current (read big) version.
People complained they wanted more stuff made in the US, now people complain its too expensive?
You can't have it both ways.
