Thats according to your own particular taste. I personally like the sound of the older Harman Kardons like the 430 or the 730. If you're aiming at watts per channel you will need something else like the Marantz 2600(very expensive), Pioneer SX-1980, Yamaha CR-2040, Sansui G-9000, Kenwood KR-9600, etc. Or you can go the separates route and possibly get the best of all worlds
