high output preamp - how high do I need to jump?

> If you have some sort of very high output preamp

I have four preamps (two SS, an Aksa GK-1 hybrid, and a Magic 5).
The most flexible is Mapletree’s Magic 5, which has two switchable active stages, also two outputs.

Output resistance:
SRPP: OUT1 - 5.4 kW, OUT2 – 14 KW
CF: OUT1 - 660 W, OUT2 – 14 KW

Two Outputs:
OUT1 - Voltage gain at 1 kHz (100 K load):
SRPP: 18 dB
CF: 23 dB

OUT2 - Voltage gain at 1 kHz (100 K load):
SRPP: 8 dB
CF: 13 dB

is the Magic 5 enough – what output are you thinking?

Cheers
