Your stuff could sound like crap. WE don't know except by your word and what little designing experience you may have.
I have postings where a piece of DHT equipment is "rated" the best ever heard, but you later find out they like "color" in their music and literally hate "a straight wire with gain". How would they rate "a straight wire with gain"? Obviously they would rate it poorly, if audition it at all. This is amazing as the definition of "audiophile" use to be to get the music as accurate as possible, not colored.
I would like to ask you if your preamp is designed with criteria of "straight wire with gain" or is it designed to be colored, distorted?
Is it blooming out where instruments are 3 feet wide? Is the front to back ratio of depth, imaging excellent or is everything up front or back? Does it sound like the way the music was recorded or doctored up to meet your needs.
If it really is that good, I am serious, why not market it? I would recommend it if it is a step forward in audio. Sincerely.
PS. By the way, if you were the one using Jensen's copper in oil, that says alot about the sonics.
