Technical and scientific discussion of amps, cables and other topics.

What is your problem?

Johnny Neutrino, you said:

"I was kinda hoping others would also chime into the discussion. I (being lazy here) would have loved to see someone providing the mathematical derivation of sqr (sine) harmonics, so that JC could compare that to his measurement spectra. Or the peltier coefficients for copper, gold, silver, nickel, tin, lead, and antimony."

Curl said:

"Oh, sure."

You've been so busy spouting off on you theory of thermo-whatever that you've completely forgotten what Curl reported from his tests. Namely, that the harmonics went off into infinity at *equal* amplitude. Not some "square root" series that would have decreasing amplitude with increasing frequency, but instead what would come from some type of delta function.

So when Curl points out to you (admittedly not so diplomatically) that your theory won't explain the facts, you get all huffy-and-puffy like you were having tea with the Queen of England and somebody used the wrong silverware, and blame *him* instead of admitting that your theory is, to be generous, sketchy.

Now, you could be right about all your thermo-gobbledygook, but I don't think so. If it turns out that you were, please feel free to say "I told you so" and I will be glad to eat humble pie. But so far I haven't seen anything that has me change my opinion of your "theory". As far as I can tell, you talk the talk but don't walk the walk.

Charles Hansen
