We are a pretty small niche.
Significantly, I would guess that the people that really have money in the game would not want to disclose the appropriate parameters and desirable values even if they knew them (for competitive reasons).
It would be a really cool project but I don't see a driving force for resolving this in the public sector and the private sector probably would want to keep it private.
We need a rich audiophile to fund this for the greater good! :)
