even that type of aural illusion is a physiologically caused illusion rather than a placebo. Heck Binaural recordings played back on headphones offer an amazing aural illusion. I'm just pointing out that placebos are a different animal all together. They are not due to the mechanics of the human perception mechanism but due to expectations. Take away the expectation and the placebo stops working. Aural illusions work regardless of expectation.
