I'm not suggesting a DBT torture test or any such foolishness, just a setup where the identity of say two interconnects is unknown.For example, use a CDP with two outputs, connect two ICs from CDP to two inputs on a pre-amplifier, have a friend do this for you and also have him use a cloth to conceal the cables ... then you could spend a small eternity switching between the cables using whatever method suited you; personally I like to listen to complete songs or movements of a symphoinic work and then repeat again for the second cable but again whatever works.
But such a test would blow away the smoke screen which is a rather a good description of the bulk of the bull shit you get on with on a regular basis, and I'm certain we'll be treated to a fine example of it when you come up with your objection to the casual blind test proposal.
